Kristen (00:06)
Okay, welcome back. Yes, I'm still doing some fucking laundry. I'm still doing the fucking laundry. However, a couple days, actually several days have passed. It is now Friday. I think when I was recording all those other episodes, was Monday, so there has been a change in the time. Anyway, I know you're probably tired about hearing about my laundry saga. So let's dive into today's topic. So today's topic, I really wanted to talk about
just, all I wanna do in this episode is I wanna dispel some limiting beliefs about wealth, abundance, prosperity, money, success, that are kind of like rampant in the personal development industry. And the reason why I wanna do that is because
I felt for them and they ultimately did not get me to the place where I am now, which is like, yo, I legit feel like I've had a quantum leap in terms of my wealth consciousness. This means like, I feel like my mindset is fully aligned with that of a multimillionaire or even a billionaire because I look at highly successful people. listen to how they talk about how they use their money.
And in my mind, I'm like, yes, I agree. Yes, that's me. Like it feels so aligned with my current identity that I just know we have the same identity around money. And that's pretty effing cool because if you have the same identity as someone who is a billionaire when it comes to money and wealth, well, then you are positioned to also become a billionaire. That's just how metaphysical stuff works. Like whatever your identity is,
you will experience in your reality. If you think money is always running out, if that's your identity, if that's your belief system, guess what? You're gonna always experience that no matter what. And I've been there, I've done that. It was not fun. So when you have the identity of more is always coming, when you have the identity of God freaking loves to spoil me, like I think I said this on one of the other episodes I recorded recently, but here's an energy I'm playing with because
I gotta be honest with you, right now, financially, and in terms of our lifestyle, I'm very grateful for where I am. It is amazing. We are able to take five-star hotel-type trips. We're able to, I go on four-figure shopping sprees, which I love fashion, so that's totally my thing. There's really not anything that, if I want it, I can't get it. I mean,
I can't buy a private jet, right? I mean, there are some things that I can't get right now. But for the most part, anything I want right now, I can pretty much get, or I at least know it's within my reach, right? so when I look at my life right now, it's hard to believe that it can get better. And so that's when I really started coming up with this belief system of, well, no,
God doesn't just love me enough to make sure I'm comfortable, to make sure I have everything I need and want and desire. Like, God actually loves me so much more than that. Like, it's not even just about, me make sure Kristin is well provided for. It's like, no, God wants to spoil me. Okay, like this is the belief system I've been leaning into lately. Like, God wants to spoil me. Like, it's not even just about, let's make sure Kristin's taken care of and provided for. It's like,
I love Kristin so much that I am gonna spoil her. And one belief that I've been leaning into, because we wanna buy a house, and we have the house where it's like we could easily get that house in a year or less. Like we have like the price range, but that's not the house I desire, okay? I'm gonna be honest, it's not the kind of house I desire. And because I've quantum leapt in my wealth consciousness, I know I can collapse time around that. And I know that like,
or I fully believe I can get the house that I actually desire in a shorter amount of time than maybe my brain currently thinks is possible. I see that as being accessible to me. So one of the beliefs I've been playing with, and I think I've said it maybe before on this podcast is, no, would never, God would never force me to live in such a small home.
Like God would never ever ever force me to live in the million dollar home. He wants me to live in the multi-million dollar dream home. And I know that's like such a bold belief. It's like, Kristen, you are so spoiled, but that's the fucking point. Sorry to Chris, but I just have to get it through to you. Cause it's like, that's the point. Like that's where I'm at financially where it's like, it's not just about what I want, what I feel I can have. It's not just about like a comfortable life.
Like, yes, it was up until this point. Up until this point, it was like, I want a comfortable life. I want to buy fashion. I want to go on nice vacations. But then you have to go bigger, right? Like you have to go bigger or else you stay in the same spot. And if you stay in the same spot, oftentimes you'll like dip back into scarcity and you'll be like, how do I keep this? How to maintain this? And like to stay out of that feeling of like, how do I keep this? How do I maintain this?
you stop looking at maintaining something and you start looking at, what's the next thing? What's the next growth edge? What is even more abundant than having a really amazing comfortable life with five star vacations and shopping sprees? Like what is above that? And what is above that is God would never want me to live in such squalor as a million dollar home. He wants me to live in a multi-million dollar home. Okay, if you're like, ugh.
fuck this, Kristin, then okay, maybe this episode is not for you. And that is totally valid and that's okay. But for those of you who like, want a lit, you want like a bougie life, like you want a wealthy life, then this is gonna have, this is gonna help you unlock so much within yourself because it's been life-changing for me. And I can tell ever since this quantum leap in my wealth consciousness, like things are just flowing. More people are talking about my book. More people are buying my book.
opportunities are coming out of nowhere and everywhere at the same time. for example, this is also really cool. My husband has just had an awesome idea for a company he wants to start and we're going to pursue it. Right. And, you know, he works full time and he's busy, but like, I know how to build businesses and he has a brilliant idea. And so we're going to fucking do it. Right. And like, that's how this next version of us as like a wealthy
our couple behaves. like start, you know, nine-figure businesses together and then sell them and, you know, become billionaires. Like honestly, like if you can't, this is a really important thing to keep in mind. If you can't look at the wealth that is above where you are and say to yourself, I desire that. If you can't look at the wealth that is above where you are and like,
be comfortable with it and see it and not feel jealous of it, not feel like it's this thing that's out of reach for you. But if you look at the wealth that's above where you are and you get angry or you get resentful or you get jealous, like if you have those negative feelings as you look at the wealth that's above where you are, well then you are in scarcity, okay? And listen, I've been there. Girl, I was the queen of being jealous of the people who were more successful than me. Like that was like...
for like five years of my life, that was how I behaved and guess where it got me? Nowhere, right? If anything, got me into deeper scarcity. So now I've like understood on a very deep level, okay, if I want what she has, then I have to identify with it. I can't be mad at it, I can't be jealous of it,
I can't say, well, it was handed to her or that she had it easier than me because guess what? I want to have it easy for me too. Right? And so I posted this in my close friend's stories and some of you probably saw it, but it's this thing like if you're identifying with the scarcity people who are like, fuck Sally Rich girl. like everyone's buying her product or everyone's buying her book. Everyone's talking about her book on social media.
She has it so easy, it's so hard for me. Like if you're listening to that or if that's you, guess what? What you're saying when you say fuck Sally Rich Girl is you're saying fuck this thing that I actually really wanna be. That's all you're saying. Like you wanna be that. That's why you're so upset with it. But if you're in that state of anger and resentment and jealousy and you're like fuck Sally Rich Girl, well you will never become Sally Rich Girl, right? You're gonna be Polly Poor Girl.
And I don't want to be Polly poor girl. I'm going to be Sally rich girl. I'm going to be so I'm going to be billionaire Bridget. I don't know. Like a billionaire Kristen Cipriano So like you can't look at what you want and hate it or be mad at it or be angry with it because then your brain is like telling the universe fuck this thing that I really want to be. So then what does the universe do with that? They're like, OK, so she says fuck. wealth, fuck, fuck things coming easy to her. Fuck things.
happening in what seems like a lucky break. Fuck all that, she doesn't want that. That's like an instruction to the universe. Do you get that? When you're like, fuck this person who's really successful, that's an instruction to the universe. Like, she doesn't like being really successful. So you have to start identifying with, identify with Sally Rich Girl. Identify with billionaire Bridget. Identify with what you want. Don't be mad at it.
Don't look at it as she had it easier than me. You want it to be easier for you too, right? Like you're jealous of the ease that she had to get to where she is, but you have access to that ease too. And I know what you're gonna say, you're gonna be like, but Kristen, I don't have a trust fund. Kristen, I don't have a doctor husband. Okay, yeah, but like ease is not associated with circumstances. Ease is an energetic state. And yes, I can look at, I mean, I don't have a trust fund, but I can look at things in my life like,
my doctor husband and I can say, yeah, this is easier for me because I have a doctor husband. There's a level of security there, right? Like, but guess what? He has medical school loans. So like, and they're more than your student loans. I got news for you. There are a lot more than your student loans. So even though he like makes a high salary, like there's a lot of debt there that we get to pay off joyfully and abundantly or that the government gets to forgive because he is a, one of those like public service people. Like he works for a company that
is non-profit, so there's like a federal student loan forgiveness, something rather, that he might be eligible for. like, we, but like, but that's the thing, like, you can look at your circumstances, like I can look at our circumstances and look at his medical school debt, and I can make that mean something horrible about my ability to succeed and our ability to become billionaires and wealthy and everything.
Like it's always possible to look at what is right in front of you and say, this means that I can't win. This means that I can't be successful. This means blah, blah, blah, blah. All that is, is an instruction to the universe, right? All that is, is you telling the universe, I don't wanna succeed. I don't wanna be wealthy. I don't wanna be Sally Rich Girl. I don't wanna be Bridget billionaire. Like that is just you telling the universe, hey, I don't want this, so don't give it to me.
Don't make it easy for me, make it really, really hard for me. Make it so hard for me because I don't like that it was easy for Sally Rich Girl. So I want it to be hard for me. That's what that means. Do you get that? I'm like an energetic perspective. So don't be mad at someone who had something handed to them. Start identifying with them. Start looking at Sally Rich Girl and say, am Sally Rich Girl. Things come just as easily to me as they do to her.
I am in the frequency of ease and abundance and wealth as Sally Rich Girl is. Like we are the same. She is me, I am her. This is my identity now. This is how life works for me now, right? Guess what that instruction does for the universe. Now the universe is like, we gotta make things easier for you. Universe is like, shoot, like she believes that things get to be handed to her now. Now we have to hand her things.
And guess what the universe is gonna do? It's gonna hand you things. It's going to hand you things. don't be mad at people. Don't be jealous of people that are more successful than you. Start pretending you are them. Like identify with them. Like, so there's this really cool musician. He's super young. He's like 22. I'm 31. So like, he's like a baby in my eyes. But he's like wildly successful. He like blew up in what appears to be like an overnight thing like.
He was on like American Idol when he was like 18 and they like laughed at him because he didn't know how to use a microphone. And then he just opened for the Grammys or did something for the Grammys. I didn't watch the Grammys, but I saw the TikTok clip. So like he went from like people laughing at him like, oh, you don't even know how to use a microphone to being on the biggest stage in the music world ever. Right? Like, and he did that what? So if he was on American Idol at 18, now he's 22, maybe 23.
So within three-ish years, he went from being like someone that people laughed at to being the top of his game, right? And obviously there's higher heights. Like maybe you've never heard of Benson Boone, but to be honest, I just heard of him like a, I don't know, fucking day or two ago, but I love his music. And it's just, when I heard his story in my mind, immediately I was like, that's me. That's me. I'm gonna blow up that big that quick too. I'm not a musician, I'm an author.
But I'm like, I look at that and I'm like, that's me. That is me, he is me, I am him, we are the same. Right? So here's the nugget that you need to understand. You wanna see yourself as the same as someone who is where you wanna be. If you see yourself as different, then you're never gonna get there. Right? Like if you see yourself as different from someone who is highly successful and you're mad at that person for being highly successful or you're jealous of them.
Well then you're never gonna get to their level. So you need to see the people who have what you want as the same as you. Because then guess what? You are the identity of the person who has the thing that you want. If you see someone who has what you want and you believe in your heart and in your mind, we are the same.
We are the same. Well guess what? You are now the identity of the person who has what you want, which means the universe is like, we gotta give her that thing that she wants. Because she's a match right now, right? It's so simple that your brain's gonna over complicate it, but just meditate on that. Meditate on what if I'm the same as a billionaire? Seriously, I've meditated on that before and it's wild. I have a belief now that I am a billionaire.
At least in my identity, in my bank account, we're working on it. But in my identity, I believe I am a billionaire. When I say that, there's no resistance in my body, nothing happens in my heart or my mind where I'm like, no, billionaires are evil. How many of you have to believe billionaires are evil? But at the same time, you're like, man, if I had that money, stop thinking they're evil. I know there are some that are evil, but find one that you like that is not evil. They exist, right? Find a billionaire you like. Find a Bridget billionaire that...
Sarah Blakely maybe. I think that's her name. She's the billionaire owner of Spanx. Like find a billionaire you like and see yourself as the same as them. Start doing that. Start doing that. I mean what? Would you rather see yourself the same as like a starving artist? Is that the life you want to create for yourself from this point forward? You want to be a starving artist for the rest of your life? Okay, that's your choice, right? Or you know, do you want to see yourself as the same as someone who...
is barely making ends meet and is mad at the fact that someone else just sold their company for a billion dollars? Okay, well, that's your choice, right? The thing is you always have a choice. You always have a choice what identity you are choosing to lean into. So what are you choosing? Are you choosing to identify with people who believe that rich people are bad? Right, so that's a big thing. have to be, so I had to be okay with letting go and not being relatable.
to people who think rich people are bad because I'm becoming a rich person. So if I'm relating to people who think rich people are bad, I'm not gonna become a rich person. You get that? So I can't relate to people like that anymore. And I can honestly say, whenever someone says a really poverty consciousness belief, I'm like, you're fucking crazy. I mean, I don't say that out loud, but I'm like, you are so misinformed. You were off your rocker. Money is amazing. So many opportunities come from wealth and abundance and also God.
promises us all wealth and abundance. like you're not like a bad person if you want it. God wants to give it to you.
Right? Like God wants to give you wealth and abundance. So why are you so set on this belief that all rich people are bad or that money is evil? Like it's not. It's not. not. It's not. God made people. People made money. Money is how we live. It's how we eat. It's how we have shelter. God wants to provide those things for us.
And also God is limitless. God is the creator of the universe, which means in my mind God is the creator of abundance. God is the creator of money in my mind. And God loves me unconditionally. God, in fact, wants to spoil me, just like God wants to spoil you. If you really believed God wants to spoil you, what would you allow yourself to desire now?
If you really believed that God wants to spoil you, what would you let yourself have now? For me, it's a multi-million dollar dream home, right? Like, God doesn't want me to live in the squalor of a one-million dollar dream home. And I mean, don't get me wrong. Like, I'm not so, like, snobby that I would be, like, ungrateful for a million dollar home. A lot of people will never be able to have that. So I'm not, I'm very, like, grateful and...
There's a layer of humbleness here where I understand that like, it's all coming from God. Like it's not coming from me, you know? And I think that's where like the humbleness comes in because I recognize that God is my provider and I recognize like, I'm just a flawed human. Like I'm just a flawed human, but God.
amazingly loves me so much that he wants me to have this much abundance. So that's where the humbleness comes in. And I know if you're listening to this and this is way out of your league in terms of your wealth consciousness, you're probably like, she's not humble at all if she's saying that a $1 million home is squalor. But that's how I wrap my head around the fact that I get to keep getting richer. Because at a certain point when you're living in, I mean, we're renting, but this home is worth $800,000, roughly.
and it's really nice and I'm so grateful for it and I would, you know, never like turn my nose up at where I am now. Like I'm very like happy and grateful and also I desire more. And also I desire more, right? And so in order for me to like believe that more is available to me, I have to look at this as like this is nothing. Like this $800,000 home we in is nothing.
and God would never want me to live in such squalor. It's like a really snobby thing to say out loud, but I think it helps you understand the vibration, right? And I exaggerate a little bit so you really get it, right? If I were to kind of like dance around the issue, I don't know if it would really come through very clearly, right? So I try to be as blunt as possible and to just say exactly how I'm thinking about things.
Even if it makes someone uncomfortable or it makes them think I'm snobby or spoiled or whatever, but like I want to be spoiled. That's the whole thing. Like I want to be spoiled by God, right? I want to be spoiled because this is amazing and I'm so grateful for it and I know more is possible. And I want to be a part of that, right? And we all get to make that choice. We all get to choose what we are willing to desire. So are you willing to desire more for yourself?
Okay, this is kind of crazy because I was going to talk about something completely different when I first started this episode and I want to kind of circle back to some of those things. So in my next episode, I will circle back to beliefs that are like in the personal development industry that will keep you in poverty consciousness. So we will come back to that. But this is what wanted to come out of me today, I guess. So I hope you enjoyed this episode. Let me know. Let me know if you listen to the whole thing.
Send me a DM on Instagram, comment below the episode on Spotify, comment or leave me a five star review on Apple or wherever you're listening to this. The reviews are really helpful. They help the show grow. This show is free. You get, you know, really valuable knowledge here. And like, here's the thing. Here's the thing. Here's how you know this is the truth. I'm not even selling you anything about wealth or money. I'm not selling you a damn thing. The only thing I sell is my book and it's a fictional book. It's a fictional book.
called The Queen Rises. Go to thequeenrises.com if you want to read it. It's a romantic fantasy, slow burn, unput downable. People frequently say that they stay up till 3 a.m. reading it because it's so enthralling and enchanting and it's also kind of funny and it's also got darker themes. It's just like a smorgasbord of wonderful entertainment. So check it out, thequeenrises.com. It's available in over 200 countries. Okay, so that's the only thing I'm selling. It has nothing to do with money.
Like it doesn't have a damn thing to do with money. It's just a book I wrote because I'm passionate about writing books. So this is how you know anything I'm sharing here. It's the truth. It's the God honest truth. And it's what's really working for me. It's what's actually changing my wealth. And I'm not selling you a program about wealth so you can trust what I'm saying because I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain by sharing this information full out transparently with you.
And that's why I also wanted to come on and dispel some of the limiting beliefs I still hear in the personal development space, which I will in the next episode, because they obviously are selling wealth programs. I'm not selling you a wealth program. Maybe eventually I'll write a book about wealth, but I want to actually be at the billionaire stage and then I want to go back and tell everyone how I did it. And you're kind of seeing this unfold along the way, you know, through this podcast and also through Common Success, my sub stack.
which all those are linked in the show notes. So you're seeing like the climb and you're gonna, if you're on the journey with me, you're gonna come with me and you're gonna see how I think about things and the shifts I make and how it impacts my career. But like, I'm not selling you a wealth program and I probably won't until I'm actually a billionaire because that just feels really good to me. Like I wanna get to this place and like I have this idea for the title of my book and it's really like cheeky and.
But it's everything I've learned and I think it'll be really powerful for people. But that could be two years, three years. It could be 10 years down the line. I don't know when that's actually gonna happen when I'm gonna become a billionaire. I know I have the identity of a billionaire now, but I don't know when it's gonna happen. So you can trust like anything I share along the way is just the God-honest truth and I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain by sharing it with you and by being honest with you. And I think there's some power in that and I've really fallen in love with.
creators and podcasters where they're just fully honest and transparent and they're not selling anything necessarily. And it's just like we get the honest wisdom and that's what you get from me on this podcast right now. I hope you enjoy it. Anyway, ready review five stars. Yeah, I'm gonna end this here and then I'm gonna record the next episode, which again, I'll be talking about limiting beliefs in the personal development industry that will keep you broke and stuck. So get excited for that. All right, I love you, bye.
