Welcome back to Soul Expansion podcast with Kristin Cipriano. I'm here with my doggies. We're just hanging out. It's really cold. And today we're going to talk about creating from a state. I'm going to teach you exactly how I not only received the idea for my book because I truly received it from God. So I'm going to teach you how to do all that, but I'm also going to teach you how to set up your identity and your mindset so that
you know you're gonna be successful in this creative pursuit. So this is gonna work for you if you're an author, right? If you wanna write a book or a screenplay or something like that. It's also gonna work for you if you're a business owner and you're looking for that next product or service that is going to literally fly off the shelves. It is gonna be so highly in demand. Everyone's gonna want it. This can apply to any business. So.
Just think for a second what you want it to apply to for you if it's a creative project like writing a book or if it's a business product or service and keep that in your mind as I teach you how to do this. You're probably gonna wanna take notes for this one, but let's go. Also, if you are listening to the audio version, we do have the video version. I'm on YouTube right now. I'm here on the video and you can get the link for the video version if you wanna see that in the show notes. All right, so how do you create from a state?
So before you do anything at all, you have to start inviting God into your life. And you don't have to be a Christian to do this, but you do have to be open to being supported by a benevolent being that wants to help you. And you have to decide that God wants to help you, right? I know for me as a Catholic, I had so many like crazy belief systems about God. Now my view and my understanding and my belief systems about God is so pure.
God loves me unconditionally. God put the desires that I want in my heart. God wants me to get what I desire. God created me to get what I desire. God created me to do the things that I feel passionate about doing. So I have a really clean belief system around who God is in my life. And again, this is not religious. This is...
This is your relationship with God, which you define. And I recommend defining it as something that's gonna make you feel good and supported and abundant and powerful, right? So for me, again, God is there to help me and guide me every step of every moment of my life. And I gave God permission to do that in my life. And that's how I had an amazing 2024.
So you have to start letting God in. And again, you don't have to be Christian to do this. Anyone can let God in. It's the God you believe in, right? And I do identify as Christian, non-denominational. So I believe in one God and Jesus Christ is my savior, but you can apply this any way you want, but you have to let that bigger presence in because that is where the money is, right?
That is where the wisdom, the divine intelligence is. If you try to figure all of it out with your human brain,
I'm sorry, but it's probably not gonna be as successful as it would be if you let God help you. God is your helper. God wants to help you, okay? So let me give you some real life examples, because this is not just me saying this. I observe this in my industry. The authors that pop off, for example, J.K. Rowling. I know some people don't have a great opinion of her because of political things. I still think she's a boss. So I am a fan of J.K. Rowling.
She received, received the story for Harry Potter while she was on a train in England. I don't know where she was going, but it popped into her head. Stephanie Meyer for Twilight, the Twilight series. You may not love the books, but no one can deny that that was a raging success, right? This is what we're looking for. We're looking for who in your industry is a raging success. In my industry, writing books.
These are the two I think of, also Sarah J. Maas. But I don't know much about her story, to be honest. These were the two, J.K. Rowling and Stephanie Meyer, that I knew their story. So when I was writing my book, I kept this in mind, okay? So Stephanie Meyer, she had the idea for Twilight. It came to her in a dream. And then she was like fascinated by the characters in this dream. So what does that mean? She received it. She received it.
from divine intelligence, from your higher self, from God, whatever you want to call it. I call it God, and I'm going to call it God the rest of this episode. So J.K. Rowling received Harry Potter from God. She's a freaking billionaire now.
Stephanie Meyer received Twilight from God. She's not a billionaire, but she's doing great, right?
So you have to be open to receiving this next great thing from God. And you have to decide that God's gonna give it to you, right? Because you could have all these limiting beliefs like, well, why would God give that to me? Do I really deserve that? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Maybe someone smarter or prettier or better than me should get it. No, God created you with your specific gifts and desires. God is gonna give you your billion dollar idea, but you have to.
believe that God will and ask for it and believe in it and trust that it's coming. And when you feel it, you have to run with it, right? So when God gave me the idea for my book, which people are comparing to top authors in my genre already, I received it. 5 a.m. one morning, boom, it dropped into my brain. And it was the overarching theme. It wasn't necessarily the book it is today, right? But the theme,
the overarching plot, boom, dropped in my head. I've manically typed an outline. I crept out of bed, manically typed an outline. See, I recognized that I was receiving something. I recognized that God was giving me something that God wanted me to run with. So you gotta be aware and like recognize those hits, right? So I received it, I wrote the outline. First draft was done in 111 days.
that's like a little over three months. It's a 600 plus page book, y'all. Like most people don't come close to writing a book that's 600 pages in even a year, let alone three and a half months.
So I took it, I received it, I took it, I ran with it, I created it, I did my part, right? God gave me the idea and God gave me the gift of writing and then I put that gift to good use. But I was asking for it the whole time. I want you to know that I was asking for God to give me an idea. I knew I wanted to write a book, I knew I had a book in me.
And I just, I was not able to brainstorm. So I was like, God, give me the idea. Give me the idea that is gonna help me create this book that is gonna create like generational wealth for me and my children and my grandchildren and blah, blah, right? Like, give me the idea. I'm praying for that idea. Boom, it dropped in. If you're a business owner, you can do the same thing. God, give me the idea for my signature product or my signature service that is gonna create generational wealth for me. Boom.
So you want to be asking for what you actually want and don't ask for something limited. I asked for something that was going to have Hollywood salivating over the film rights for my book. I asked for something that was going to have hundreds of millions of readers who are fans of my book. Like I wasn't asking for a little baby gift from God. I was asking for what I really want. I was being bold.
about that, you I wasn't shrinking my desire at all. And I truly believed that God would not only give that to me, but would want to give that to me. That's how you're gonna receive the idea. That's how you're gonna get the idea and start running with it. But then you also need to have the belief system that it's gonna be the thing. And you wanna create from that state. So the entire time when I was writing my book,
I was reprogramming my subconscious mind to believe that I am the, not the top 10, no, I am the romantic fantasy novelist of my generation. I decided that as I was writing it and I programmed my brain to believe that as I was writing it and this is why this is important. I'm not trying to be arrogant here, right? This is not about arrogance. This is about
bringing out the best version of you so that you can create your best art or your best product or service for your business that's gonna transform so many people's lives. In order for us to bring out the best version of you,
You have to believe that you are the best version of yourself. We're not gonna get your best work if you're writing something and hoping and praying that 100 people are gonna buy that book. No, no, not at all. We're not gonna get your best work. Your best work is only gonna come when you believe that you are the top of your industry, that you are the go-to, that you are the one people can't stop talking about, that your book or your product or your service.
is the one that everyone recommends to their friends. Until you believe that you are creating that, you are not gonna create your best work. This is my belief. I don't wanna dim anyone's light. So if you already created a book or something and you're really proud of it, yeah, get your mind right about that book, right? For me, I felt that I would create my best work if I already had the mindset of,
I'm at the top of this industry. Right? So that's just for me. For you, if you already wrote a book, you can believe that you're at the top of this industry and that that book is good enough. Like you can totally do that. For me, I have insecurity issues about my writing. So I had to believe, no, I am at the top of my industry. Like people are using my books to like talk about a genre now because my book is defining the genre.
Right? Like I had to believe that in order to produce my best work. And do some soul searching. Maybe you don't believe that that's the case, right? Maybe for you, you already know you created your best work, but you have to work on the confidence and the belief that people will think that it is your best work, that people will see it as that top tier creative pursuit, book, project, offer, service, whatever.
I have to do that work too. Right, once I decided, no, I'm at the top, like people are saying my books are defining the genre for my generation. Like am the fantasy romance novelist of my generation. Like once I decided that's who I am, once I assumed that identity, everything I wrote was like infused with that energy, right? So my book is infused with that energy. It's created from the state. It's created from the identity of who I am becoming.
with this book.
And I'm not saying you can't do it other ways. I'm saying this is the most powerful way. Yeah, that's what I believe. Yes, you can do it other ways. Yes, if you already wrote a book, you can get your energy behind it. You can make it huge. I don't want to limit you if that's you. But I think this is the most powerful way to create anything is to have the mindset of where you're going as you're creating it. Because then we get your best work. Then we pull out the energy from you.
that would put you at that top tier, that would put your product or service or book at the top of people's list.
So it likely means if you're a writer, you're gonna write bolder. You're gonna go deeper. You're going to push the limits. You're going to perhaps be more artistic or perhaps be more critical of your own work in a good way, right? In a constructive way.
So create from the state of where you want the thing to go. If you're creating a new offer for your product suite decide you are the top coach in your industry or the top service provider, whatever you do. Decide that you're already like people are looking up to you because you're making multi-million doing your thing. And people are saying, no, this person's course is the best ever.
I swear, I bet you Amanda Francis has this mindset about her programs. I think I've observed it in her and I subconsciously picked up, that's what works so well for her. She's decided she's at the top. So everything she creates is infused with this energy of no, this is the best in class. This is the best there is.
That's the energy you need to have about your stuff. You're the best there is. And it's not about arrogance. It's about bringing out your best work, right? Yeah, people are gonna hear this podcast and if they're not in this world, they're gonna say, well, Kristen is really, you know, she's got her head so far up her own booty that she's really arrogant, right? They're gonna say what they think, but in order for my best work to come out, I have to believe I am the best.
and you have to believe you are the best. And make it specific to your industry, right? Like, this is a very specific affirmation. I am the top fantasy romance novelist of my generation, right? My books are defining my genre. These are very specific to my industry. Make yours specific to your industry. What does the top look like for you? Assume that identity, assume that mindset, then create the thing.
You know why? Because if you're in that identity, which I was, and I have been throughout the whole book writing process and the editing and everything, if you're in that identity, you're creating from your future self who is that person.
So when I wrote my book, I was creating from the version of me who already has hundreds of millions of readers who are fans of my work.
I was creating from the state of my future self who already has Hollywood salivating over the film rights. So it was my best work, you know? And of course my work's gonna keep getting better and better and better. That's another affirmation I have. Each book I write is better than the last because I'm always gonna improve. But I brought out my best with my debut. Yo, this is my first book and people are comparing it to Sarah J. Maas novels, Throne of Glass,
the ACOTAR series, and it's not me or even people I necessarily know comparing it. These are like online acquaintances who agree to read my book early. And I didn't tell them to say this. They're saying this to me because they actually believe it, right? This is my debut. So I brought out the best in me that I could possibly have at this point, because I assume the identity of no, there's already hundreds of millions of readers who want my book. That's the other key piece here.
You wanna believe that whoever that community is for you, it's followers, readers, fans, email list people, whatever, you wanna believe that they want what you're creating. They want it, they already want it. Before you even created it, they wanted it. This is actually proven in quantum physics. There's a great book, A Happy Pocket Full of Money.
by David Cameron, Jikandi, highly recommend, get the audible version, get the paper version, do both, right? He talks about the fact that you don't have the desire to create something out of nowhere. It's like the quantum field is responding. People are desiring the thing that you are feeling led to create. So build it and they will come is true. You just have to believe that and operate from that space, right? You just have to operate from the identity of no, they already want it.
My job is just to create it and tell people about it. But they already want it. I don't have to convince anyone.
I'm already at the top.
This is the identity you need to have. And again, it sounds like arrogance, but it's not. It's about bringing out the best in you so that you can produce the best product, service, or book, the best work. And the only way you're gonna bring out the best is if you believe you are the best. So decide you are the best. Program your brain to believe you are the best. Do it every night. Subliminal audios, I'm telling you, they work. Put it on your wall behind your computer, wherever you work all day.
It works. Program and train your brain to believe that you are at the top of your industry. And then from that state, create the thing. And what do you know? You're gonna shoot right to the top of your industry. You're gonna shoot to the top. That's how quantum physics works.
If you're operating from that identity, you're gonna attract that experience. If you're operating from that identity, you are gonna create something at that caliber where it is gonna attract hundreds of millions of people, right? All right. On that note, you gotta get my book.
